Character Design

A character in my comic... trying to experiment with her look a bit more... this is her in two different positions/outfits. I wouldn't mind featuring her in an RP during the time she was a child/whilst she is learning about the human world if anyone is interested~

Name: Naxi. Her name didn't specify last names though they kept markings relevant towards the decorations of their family tents within their tribe. Although when discovered her name was unknown, they thought it would be befitting to at least provide her with a name upon the commencement of her computer generation so they simply nicknamed her "Naxi". A simply random name that the crew who kept her functional decided to call her since she was believed to be human at one point. 

Race: Cyborg. Created as one of the first human enhancement projects of an underground lab before they underwent further research to have animal-like human enhancement. Created by a young man who was obsessed with the human anatomy and its potential. 

Gender: Female.

Age: She looks to be 19 though her construction started 30 years ago. 

Appearance: A neatly kept mane of emerald coloured hair, on the left side of her hair it is cut to shoulder length then cascades down to her other upper arm. Its volume almost the height of her head. She harbors a widows peak and a diamond shaped skull with a sharply pointed chin and nose. Thin but piercing red eyes that project a faintly visible glow in the night. She has a virtical eyebrow piercing on her left and large golden hoop earrings. Her skin is a natural copper due to her original body growing up in the desert at a young age. Believed to have Egyptian heritage before she was discovered on the outskirts of a desert village. Proof of which is shown through her being naturally drawn back to the desert and constant eyeliner application of a cat. She is rarely seen to change to her facial expression and if so its done momentarily.  

History: She was discovered at a young age when a scientist was passing through desert lands. She grew up in a small village that was keen on keeping its tradition of being connected with the spirits and having a tribal way of living, away from civilisation. Her village was attacked by wandering soldiers that took their sacred pathway as a last minute short cut and discovered them, in their alarm that they may be followed they took arms against her tribe; in fear that they wouldn't be let through peacefully when in need of escape from their enemies. Her tribes weaponry stood no chance against their machinery. Her brothers able to make an escape though her mother perished within the fires of their tent. She was one of the few children to escape into the desert, found and rehydrated, and brought into experimentation.

Believing that she wouldn't be missed as the scientist saw the fires and smell of war from behind her, he locked away her memories and used her body as a vessel for his work. Using her as the main computer of an elite academy and science building as its main interface and protector. 
The building was attacked when the scientists behind the scene experiments were discovered, and her bounds were broken - allowing her to escape. Bewildered she left the premises and made her way out into the city, being taken under the wing of one of the students at the academy. She had been well known as the woman who was able to control the school data base however her true backstory and how much of her body had been fused with the computer was little known. Once her connection with the computer was lost, she had regained a human consciousness however she had kept a tremendous amount of the information she had stored within her though with no knowledge as to who she was. Her day-to-day life form the time she was 5 until she turned 34 had been to operate as the computers organiser and slave to her co-ordinators. Now she is steadily learning from those around her to become "human" and understand who she was, who she is, and what to be.

Personality: As a child she was known for her frequently appearing subtle smile to everyone around her. Although she wasn't the most enthusiastic of children, she was known for being a hard worker in her village. A friend to the animals and always willing to take on any responsibility within her family as the eldest. She was always willing to help those around her and often had injuries because of how hard she worked herself towards her deeds.
Once she regained consciousness as a human, she is often bewildered by the simplicity of humans. Believing that they can only experience one emotion at a time that seems spontaneous and without warning. She seems quick on the uptake when it comes to mimicking the everyday norms of those around her. Being kept under the influence of those she first met upon her escape, she picked up the basics of cheap grunge like fashion and smoking to withhold conversations with more people and learning about their habits. 
Her default mood is generally neutral and without much reaction to things around her, though she has been known to give her subtle smile to small animals (although usually they are afraid of her because of her mechanical frame) and her eyes almost gleaming happiness when the rest of her face seems like a blank expression when she comes into contact with fire - its nature fascinating her as it subconsciously reminds her of the bomb fires and traditions of her tribe as a child. She is one that is keen to learn about humans and what makes them happy. She struggles to understand jokes or sarcasm and fails to understand a lot of expression. Though she appreciates a lot of the dialogue that people express and has a basic understanding of it through her experience as the academies interface and living up to the expectations of its students. She is quick to find admiration for characters around her though seldom expresses these as she usually keeps her thoughts to herself unless they are bluntly conveyed or out of frustration. The first human emotions that she has come to grips with are happiness, frustration, confusion, hostility, and curiosity and often flips between them in basic interactions. Each of them are emotions she had been allowed to experience as her programers weren't able to suppress them however she wasn't allowed to express them in, now in human form her capabilities of demonstrating these emotions can seem extreme or barely noticeable as she practices her facial and physical reactions (sometimes in the mirror or whilst in conversation, she is always practicing and trying to learn). When pushed to fight (usually because of an unintended insult) or feels a protective instinct from when she was a child (she often protected her brothers because little bothered her in her environment) she often hesitates though when in the midst of battle she has been known to become merciless and cruel. 

Weakness: From time to time she has been known to have a paralysing head ache as her body struggles to reboot itself, she developed this defect after she became detached from the main computer frame as her body had been almost completely connected and merged with it for the majority of her life. If she is plugged into a computer main frame she looses all sense of self and trying to remove her from its connection could be fatal. Her body can completely merge with a computers programming and thus its easy for her to loose her emotional stability, mind and physical capabilities if she is removed from it too quickly if merging for a temporary process (like removing a usb without ejecting properly) If left in the desert or ocean too long she is flashed with the sense that she may die (like how she almost died as a child) and her mechanical functions become stressed and unable to handle the situation, thus shutting themselves down and deactivating her. She can only be rebooted with the exact parts that created her and they are next to impossible to locate. Anywhere but her skull can be easily repaired though if they are ripped from her body without her being in emotional stress. The more emotional stress she is under the more difficult it is for her to regain consciousness and activated again.  

Weapons: She was equipped with a metal based fluid that allowed her to meld and mould herself with any electronic device, though it can also be used as a weapon as its able to change its shape and density. She typically uses it to coat her own body like a guard or for strength. Enabling her to have the ultimate human enhancement. Although her powers don't allow her to destroy things completely she has been known to slice or leave large crevices/cracks in the landscape if she chooses to use them. When her limbs are ripped off her she equips her liquid as its replacement until she becomes emotionally exhausted. She has been known to feel incredibly crushed when those close to her become frightened by her ruthless nature as a cyborg during battle, as she struggles to come to terms with the fact that she is so different from others. This leads her into retreating from the world for as long as a few weeks or until she needs to be connected with an electronic device to centre her physicality and to fine tune her mechanics to keep herself from rusting e.c.t. 

Abilities: Keen eyesight that allows her to see naturally about a mile long without computer aid. Able to leap from buildings several stories high due to the strength in her legs from her metallic fluid that runs in her mechanical veins. Can leave considerable crevices in the ground/walls when in combat and has considerable grip strength again with the enhancement of her fluid. Can use it to form weapons as large as herself (can even create a clone of her form) and can divide its shape to pierce through materials as tough as titanium. Her senses are acute and are heightened considerably compared to the average human, often using them to look out for those around her.
